The Only MoCA 2.5 Adapter With Two 2.5GbE Ports

Every other MoCA 2.5 adapter on the market ships with a single Ethernet port. Kiwee Broadband was first to engineer a MoCA 2.5 adapter with dual 2.5GbE ports — connecting two full-speed devices from a single coax outlet, with no switch required.

Engineering

Built on Real MoCA Engineering, Not Marketing Claims

Our adapters are built on MaxLinear’s MxL3710 MoCA 2.5 silicon — the same chipset family powering carrier-grade MoCA deployments — paired with a GPY211 multi-gig Ethernet PHY. The result is a real, verifiable 2.5 Gbps link, not a theoretical spec on a box.

Tested, Not Assumed

We verify real 2.5 Gbps throughput with iperf, holding a stable link even at up to 50dB of cable attenuation — the kind of degraded, real-world wiring most homes actually have.

Carrier-Grade Silicon

MaxLinear chipsets are the same family used in ISP-deployed MoCA gateways — not a generic off-the-shelf module relabeled with our logo.

Standards Compliant

Fully MoCA 2.5/2.0/1.1/1.0 backward compatible, FCC/CE/UL certified, and built to coexist cleanly with DOCSIS 3.1 cable internet.

Why Kiwee Broadband MoCA 2.5

Ultra Fast

Up to 2.5 Gbps shared across your network — enough for multiple 4K/8K streams, online gaming, and large file transfers at the same time.

Easy Setup

No new wiring. Plug an adapter in at each end of your existing coax run and you’re connected. Sold in pairs; one network supports up to 16 devices.

Rock Solid

Shielded coax resists the interference that weakens Wi-Fi — under 8dB loss per 100ft, with a full-speed link even at 60dB path loss.

Perfect For

Mesh Wi-Fi Backhaul

Give your mesh access points a wired backhaul so every room gets full-speed Wi-Fi, not a weaker hop.

4K/8K Streaming & Gaming

A stable wired connection for streaming boxes and consoles — no buffering, no lag spikes from Wi-Fi congestion.

Home Office

Reliable multi-gig Ethernet at your desk, even when your office is far from the router.

Security Cameras & Access Points

Run a wired backbone to cameras and APs in garages, basements, or detached structures over coax that’s already there.

Technology

How MoCA Works

MoCA (Multimedia over Coax Alliance) technology turns your home’s existing coaxial TV cabling into a private, guaranteed-delivery network. It provides the wired backbone modern Wi-Fi needs to keep up with streaming, gaming, and the growing number of smart-home devices competing for bandwidth.

Because it reuses cabling that’s already in your walls, MoCA gives you Ethernet-class reliability without the cost and disruption of running new wire.

Compatibility

Will It Work With My Internet?

Yes. Kiwee Broadband adapters use Extended Band D by default, which keeps MoCA 2.5 traffic on a higher frequency range than your cable internet — so it coexists cleanly with CATV and even DOCSIS 3.1. If you ever hit interference, you can switch to Band D Low or Band D High from the adapter’s built-in web interface. For apartments or condos with shared coax, enabling MoCA privacy and adding a Point-of-Entry (PoE) filter keeps your network isolated from neighbors.

Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about Kiwee Broadband MoCA 2.5 adapters.

Kiwee Broadband engineered the world’s first MoCA 2.5 adapter with dual 2.5GbE Ethernet ports, built on MaxLinear’s MxL3710 chipset. While competing MoCA 2.5 adapters offer only a single Ethernet port, our dual-port design lets you connect two full-speed 2.5 Gbps devices from a single coax outlet — no extra switch needed.

A MoCA 2.5 adapter converts the coaxial TV cabling already installed in your home into a high-speed wired Ethernet network delivering up to 2.5 Gbps. You connect one adapter to your router and another at any coax outlet to extend fast, stable internet without running new cable.

For reliability, yes. Wi-Fi speeds fluctuate with distance, walls, and interference. MoCA runs over shielded coax and holds a steady 2.5 Gbps link, making it ideal as a wired backbone for mesh Wi-Fi, gaming, and 4K/8K streaming.

Yes. Kiwee adapters operate at 1125–1675 MHz and coexist with DOCSIS cable internet, including DOCSIS 3.1. For best results, disable the built-in MoCA feature in your provider’s gateway to avoid conflicts.

At least two — one at your router and one at the device you want to connect. Kiwee adapters are sold in pairs, and a single MoCA network supports up to 16 devices total.

No. Kiwee adapters are plug-and-play with no software or configuration required. Connect each adapter to a coax outlet and an Ethernet device, and the network forms automatically.
